Each year Condé Nast Traveler asks its readers to rate their top destination spa resorts around the world. Resorts from Thailand to California were considered and Euphoria Retreat was recognised amongst the top 30, achieving an average score of 95.15%.
Each year Conde Nast Traveler rates the top-level retreats and medi-clinics, the most-results-driven health centres and the slickest spas.
In January 2020, Euphoria Retreat was included in the list of the very best spa and wellness destinations in the world and was awarded with the title of the ‘Best Fitness Programme’ at the Conde Nast Traveler Spa Awards 2020.
The Tatler Spa Awards are organized in partnership with ESPA and Healing Holidays. The awards are celebrating the crème de la crème of spas, from tranquil havens hidden high in the mountains to historic icons, each with their own unique approach to wellness.
Euphoria Retreat has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Best Overall winners in the annual Organic Spa Media 2020 Wellness Travel Awards.

Euphoria Retreat- Spa Resort is awarded 1 of 7 of the IES Illumination Award of Excellence for 2020. The IES Illumination Awards is an international program, with over 600 submissions worldwide annually and recognizes lighting for professionalism, ingenuity, and originality in lighting design based on the individual merit of each entry. Lighting combines with sound, temperature, humidity, textures and smell to create an immersive sensory experience”.
Traveller Review Awards 2020
The annual AHEAD Architecture awards seek to reward the “relentless pursuit of the exceptional”. Euphoria was awarded in the Spa & Wellness category for design that contributes to the hospitality experience within a hotel spa and wellness facility.
The annual awards of the popular and influential “travel club for hotel lovers” recognise hotels and villas that, according to its panel of judges, should be “on your absolute definitive holiday hotlist”. As the panel said: “This really is a destination retreat. Marina’s story is really special and the love, care and detail that has gone into Euphoria’s creation is captivating.”
The annual awards of the influential architecture, interior and design website are regarded as a benchmark for international design excellence. In announcing the Euphoria Retreat Spa as the winner in its Leisure and Wellness Interior category, it singled out the "spiritual experience” provided by the spa’s design.
Whatever it is that truly makes a hotel special, it’s celebrated in the annual National Geographic Traveller awards, which look for tastemakers, trendsetters and game-changers in the business. As the adjudicating panel said, Euphoria Retreat does “Hellenic-inspired wellness par excellence”.
The LIT Design Awards ™ was created to recognize the efforts of talented international lighting product designers and lighting implementers. The lighting for each space of Euphoria Retreat was considered as a unique piece, contributing to the crescendo of the ultimate relaxation experience. A number of custom luminaires were designed to imitate daylight conditions, thus harmonizing the transitions through the spaces and enhancing the immersive architecture.
Annual Greek hotel awards adjudicated by a panel of leading travel industry professionals (from hotel group CEOs, to architects and travel writers). The awards are designed to recognise and encourage exceptional quality and vision in Greek tourism.
The annual A+Awards of Architizer.com (the largest international online community of architects) recognise “the year’s most influential visionaries” in various fields of design and architecture. Entries are judged by leaders in design, technology, real estate, fashion and more.
The annual World Luxury Spa Awards recognise outstanding achievement for luxury spas, as selected by guests, travellers and industry professionals (more than 250,000 in 2019) in an open vote over a four-week period.
